Regional Water Authority Schieland & Krimpenerwaard (HHSK) is the water management authority for the city of Rotterdam and surrounding areas (www.hhsk.nl).
Link-EU supports HHSK in the identification of EU cooperation and funding opportunities, consortium building, project design and bid-writing of EU funding applications. To date this has resulted in the creation of 2 successful EU cooperation projects lead by HHSK.
The project USAR develops innovative technologies to transform dredging waste into a resource for construction and civil engineering works. The project SPONGE 2020 will implement participatory climate change adaptation schemes in 8 densely built urban areas across Europe. Both projects are funded by the INTERREG 2 Seas programme and run from 2016 - 2020.
Link-EU also takes care of project management for the SPONGE 2020 project.
